Hi, I’m Janet Federici! I work one‑on‑one with middle and high schoolers to build intuitive understanding, steady confidence, and study habits that outlast any single test.

I believe every student already has what they need to succeed; my job is to help them realize that.
Whether we're solving for x, practicing SAT timing strategies, or editing a college essay, I tailor each session to how your student learns best (and I push them a little, of course).
Sessions are structured, in-depth, and always encouraging. I help your student set clear goals, track their progress, and celebrate their big and small wins along the way.

Three subjects, one personal approach
Booking 1:1 sessions for the school year
Every lesson is 50 minutes, one‑on‑one, and planned around your student’s goals. I’m off to South Korea on my Fulbright in January, so I’d love to help your child up their grades and establish good study skills before I go!

It’s easy and convenient to schedule and pay for lessons. Here’s how:
How it works
We schedule your lessons
After a quick chat, we pick a weekly time that works for your student.
You pay the night before
Send payment by 11:59 pm the night before each lesson, or pay for the month upfront.
Your student shows up ready
I’ll have a lesson planned around their goals, classes, and upcoming tests.
Payment due
By 11:59 pm the night before each lesson.
If payment isn’t received by then, we’ll reschedule the lesson to another time that works for both your student and me.
I accept
8 SAT lessons a month, paid upfront
Pay for 8 SAT lessons at the start of each month and save 10%. That’s two lessons a week and no night-before payments to remember.
